How to Transfer a Call on a Vtech 5.8 GHz Cordless Phone
Transferring calls from one handset to another is one of the many features of the Vtech 5.8 GHz Cordless phone. It comes in useful if you share a telephone number with several people or operate a small home business. Transferring calls is a cinch.

Press the "Int" key located in the far lower right of the handset. The LCD will show "Transfer to:."

Dial the number of the handset to which you are transferring the call. The LCD will show "Calling handset B." Handset B will ring, and the LCD will show "Handset A is calling."

Press the "Talk" button or any of the numeric keys to answer.

View the LCD. It should display "Intercom."

Press "Off/Clear" on the first handset to transfer the call.
