How do I Put in Satin Strands or Premium Remy Fusion Hair?

Comb your hair before adding the hair extensions.

You can add beautiful colors of faux hair to your hairstyle by adding Satin Strands or Premium Remy Fusion to your hair. Both products come in a wide variety of bold colors, such as purple and blue, or in natural hair shades to use as lowlights or highlights. You can also use them to add length or volume to your hair. (see ref 1 question 4) Adding these products to your hairstyle will give it pizazz and create a whole new look. While these hair strands are temporary, some methods of adding them last longer than others.

Things You'll Need

• Clip-on Satin Strands or pre-tipped Premium Remy Fusion hair extensions
• Fusion tool
• Wide-toothed comb

Instructions

Pre-tipped Premium Remy Fusion

1. Plug in the Fusion hair tool. You can purchase it where the hair extensions are sold.

2. Place the pre-tipped hair extension on the base of the hair near the scalp, but not directly on it. These type of extensions come with a small amount on adhesive already on the tip portion.

3. Place a Fusion shield onto the scalp before using the hot Fusion tool. This will protect your scalp from burns. Apply the hot Fusion tool to the pre-tipped strand and melt the glue to attach it to the hair.

Satin Strands

1. Comb your hair with a wide-toothed comb to remove any tangles. Decide where you want the Satin Strands. They are hair extensions that are actual human hair, therefore can be styled in the same manner as your real hair.

2. Place the clip-on variety of Satin Strands along the base of the hair section very near your scalp.

3. Open the clip and slide it through a small section of hair.

4. Press the clip together to attach it to the hair strands. If the clip does not close easily, you have too much of your own hair in the clip. Just remove a few strands from the clip and try again.

Tips & Warnings

• You can wash and dry both products just like your natural hair, although using heat styling tools may cause them to wear out faster.

• You can purchase bulk hair strands to weave or braid into your regular hairstyle.

• The Premium Remy Fusion and Satin Strands are expensive. For the best results, allow a hair stylist to place them into your hair.
