How do I Use an Amigo 620 Polaroid Camera?
The Amigo 620 is an instant camera that came into production in about 1982. It is included in the Polaroid 600 Land Camera Series. Although it is a Polaroid camera, it lacks an electronic flash. It is tan and plastic and the actual flash is positioned on the flip. It has a built-in close-up lens and uses Polaroid 600 film. Finding a vintage Polaroid camera at a garage sale or flea market is a good find. Polaroid is a well known, reliable brand that has been around since the early 1940s. It is the largest brand of instant cameras and was very popular until the digital camera craze.

Open the film door. There is a film release button located on the top left of the camera. Insert the film into the slot. Make sure that the film's pull tab has not been removed. If it is removed, the film has been exposed to light and is no good. Do not touch the film itself. Hold it by the edges and insert it face up.

Close the film door and wait a few seconds for the camera to load the film and eject its cover. This will be a cardboard square with the pull tab.

Check the amount of pictures available. This number can be found in a small window on the back, right-hand side of the camera. This will determine whether the film was loaded correctly. It should be the same number as the pack of film loaded. For example, if the package of film you purchased contained 24 photographs, this number should be 24.

Open the flip-top on the camera and focus on something. Look through the view-finder on the back of the camera.

Push the red button on the front of the camera. Grab the picture that comes out of the same place the film cover ejected from.
