BellSouth email is a popular service for residents in the Southeastern United States. AT&T acquired BellSouth in 2006 and services the email through its partnership with Yahoo!. AT&T routes owners of BellSouth email addresses to the AT&T website when they visit the bellsouth.net website. The email service is very user-friendly and flexible for new users who merged to the AT&T system. The AT&T email allows users to easily attach files, view thumbnails of attachments and manipulate their orientation within the email itself.

      Click the "New" button to create a new email. You can attach documents or photographs to your email either before or after you write the content.

      Install the easy attach tool by clicking on the link titled "Attach files more easily" in the light blue bar below the body of the email. After you click on this link, you will agree to install an easy attachment plug-in and agree to the terms and conditions. A pop up window will appear for these steps. Allow the plug-in to install. This plug-in will allow you to attach batches of photographs or documents at once. You will also be able to rotate and see the photos that you are attaching and you may drag photos and files from your computer to your email.

      Click either the new "Attach" link in the light blue bar near the bottom of the email or the "Attach" button in the dark blue bar at the top of the email between the "Send" and "Save Draft" buttons. A pop up window will appear that allows you to find the photo or documents that you wish to attach. Click on the document or photo to highlight the file, and then click "Open" at the bottom of the window. The file will attach to your email and you will see a thumbnail image of the photo or file at the bottom of your email. Alternatively, you can drag the files into the email page. To remove an attachment, click the attachment in the email bar, then click the gray "X" in the top left corner of the thumbnail. You can rotate a photo attachment by clicking on the photo and then clicking the gray circular arrow in the upper right corner of the thumbnail. To remove all attachments, click "Remove All" in the light blue bar just above the attachment thumbnails.
