How Do I Craft with Wallpaper Scraps?
You've just finished wallpapering your bedroom or your baby's nursery. What do you do with those leftover wallpaper scraps? Use your creativity to make a craft project. You can craft a beautiful, handmade fan, cover a journal with paper scraps or make unique wall art using blank canvases from the craft store. You already have the main ingredients, and they're free.

Fan Wall Hanging
-
1
Cut a piece of wallpaper that measures 10 by 24 inches. Accordion fold the paper from 10-inch end to 10-inch end.
-
2
With the accordion fold in place, fold the wallpaper in half and hold it in place with a clothespin or binder clip. Use a small line of hot glue to secure the fold. Let the glue dry, and let the rest of the paper fan out.
-
-
3
Hot-glue silk flowers and ribbon onto the fan for decoration. You can hang the fan on your wall or place it in a shadow box. You can make several mini fans to give as favors at a bridal shower, a baby shower or a wedding reception.
Journal
-
4
Open a plain-covered journal to the middle on a flat surface, and flip it over so that the cover is facing you. Cut a piece of wallpaper slightly larger than the journal's cover.
-
5
Brush the outside of the journal cover with decoupage medium. Adhere the wallpaper to the cover. Let the decoupage medium dry for 30 minutes.
-
6
Either trim away the extra wallpaper from the edges of the cover with sharp scissors or a craft knife, or fold the extra paper over the edges and glue it to the inside of the cover with decoupage medium. Paint another coat of decoupage medium over the top of the wallpapered cover to seal it.

-
7
