How to Revise Powerpoint
A PowerPoint document can be revised with the same tools used for creating and modifying a PowerPoint presentation. Simply open the PowerPoint presentation with PowerPoint and revise its content to your liking by adding and removing text, pictures, slides and transitions.

Open Microsoft PowerPoint.

Click "File" and select "Open." Then choose the PowerPoint presentation you would like to revise.

Click "Insert" and select "New Slide" to add additional slides to your PowerPoint.

Add text to your PowerPoint by typing in the text boxes on the new slides you created. Alternatively, add text by typing in the text boxes on the original slides of the PowerPoint. Remove text from your PowerPoint by clicking inside of a text box and pressing the "backspace" key.

Add new text boxes to a slide by clicking "Insert," selecting "Text Box" and then clicking and dragging your cursor over the section of the PowerPoint slide that you want to add a new text box to. Alternatively, delete text boxes from your PowerPoint by clicking on the perimeter of a text box and pressing the "delete" key.

Add pictures to your PowerPoint by clicking "Insert," choosing "Picture" and selecting "Clip Art" or "From File." Then select the desired clip art photo or image from your computer you would like to add. Alternatively, delete pictures from your PowerPoint by clicking on the picture you would like to delete and pressing the "delete" key.

Click "Slide Show," choose "Slide Transition" and select a slide transition setting to add a transition to your PowerPoint. Alternatively, click "Slide Show," choose "Slide Transition" and select "No Transition" to remove a transition from your PowerPoint.

Click "View" and select "Slide Show" to view your revised PowerPoint. Then save your PowerPoint when finished revising it.
