How to Attach a Toilet Seat to a Five Gallon Bucket
When camping, we often have to resort to man-made items to survive outdoors. Since there is no outdoor plumbing in most woods, campers or hikers turn to the five-gallon bucket toilet to comfortably go to the bathroom. It is very common for users of this item to fill the bucket with sawdust because of its natural ability to mask odors, which makes carrying the bucket toilet a much more pleasant experience.

Fold the mounting brackets back over the edge, lining up the holes in the brackets with the drilled holes in the bucket. Place one bolt through each hole and hand screw the nut onto the end of each bolt. Grip the nut with a crescent wrench, and use another crescent wrench to tighten the bolt from the bolt head.
