Go to the TexasLawHelp website. The website is free and will not ask you for registration information or any forms of payment. The main page of the TexasLawHelp website is organized by topics, so you can look up more information about your particular case for which you need advice. For example, there are icons for Civil Law, Elder Law and Disaster Relief. If you want more information or advice on a specific area of law, click on the appropriate icon, which will take you to a new page covering that topic.

Click on the tab at the top of the page that reads “Find Legal Assistance.” This will take you to a new page where you can search for a legal advocate in your area.

When you have entered the appropriate menu, either by filling in information or selecting an answer through a drop-down menu, click on the “GO” button at the bottom of the screen.

Write down the information that comes up on the following page, after you have clicked on “GO.” The website will list organizations in your area that may be able to help you with your case or give you free advice or representation.
