How to Set the Clock on a Pioneer Radio

Founded in Tokyo, Japan in 1938, Pioneer Electronics has gone on to become one of the world's leading manufacturers of car radios. All of Pioneer Electronics' car radio models feature a digital clock display. Setting the clock on your Pioneer Electronics car radio is a simple task that can be completed in just a couple of minutes.

      Locate the "SRC/OFF" button on the top left side of your Pioneer car radio. Press and hold the "SRC/OFF" button until the unit shuts down.

      Locate the large, multi-control knob on the left side of your car radio. Press and hold the multi-control knob until the words "Clock Set" appear on the Pioneer car radio display.

      Turn the multi-control knob to highlight the "Clock Set" option. Press the multi-control knob to make your selection.

      Rotate the multi-control knob to highlight the "Hours" clock segment and press the knob to make your selection. Turn the multi-control knob to adjust the "Hours" segment to the desired value. Press the multi-control knob to save your changes.

      Turn the multi-control knob to highlight the "Minutes" clock segment and press it. Adjust the "Minutes" segment to the desired value and press the multi-control knob once more to complete the clock-setting process.

Tips & Warnings

  • Turn off the clock display, if desired, by pressing the "Clock" button. Press the "Clock" button again to turn the clock display back on.
