How to Get Songs From LimeWire to a Playlist for an iPod
Downloading music from LimeWire is simple and free. Transferring that music to your iTunes library and iPod is also simple and without charge. You can create a new playlist within iTunes to download your LimeWire music to, or you can add it to an existing playlist. When downloading from LimeWire, it is important to keep in mind that many songs are copyright protected and downloading them can result in a penalty and jail time.

Download and save music from Limewire.

Open iTunes and left-click on "File."

Scroll down to "Add Folder to Library" and locate the folder the Limewire downloads are stored in. "Music" and "Limewire" are two common folders where music is stored. Click "OK."

Left-click on "File" and then "New Playlist." Name your playlist.

Left-click on "Recently Added" and drag the songs to the new folder. To drag, left-click on the song and hold while dragging the cursor to the new folder. Release the left mouse button once the cursor is over the folder to add the song to the playlist.

Connect the USB cord to your iPod and computer's USB port.
