How to Add a Note to a Palm Address Book

Address books contain all of your contact information. You can use the Note field to add birthday information, specific information about the contact itself, or directions to the contact's location.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

    Tap the Phone button to display the Address list.

  2. Step 2

    Select the name in the address list you'd like to add a note to.

  3. Step 3

    Tap Edit.

  4. Step 4

    Tap Note to display the Note field. Notice that the contact name appears at the top of this field.

  5. Step 5

    Write in the information you want displayed in this field.

  6. Step 6

    Tap Done to close the note field.

  7. Step 7

    Tap Done to exit the Address Edit screen.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you are entering a lot of information, you may find it useful to enter it using your PC, and synchronize to get the information on your Palm handheld.
  • If you use an address program such as MapQuest, you may be able to download the directions directly to your Palm device.
