How to Put Songs From Windows Media Player to iTunes
You may use the Windows Media Player software to play songs that you have downloaded or otherwise saved on your computer. ITunes also plays a wide variety of audio files. Adding the Windows Media Player songs in iTunes will allow you to move those songs onto any iPod that you own. You must use iTunes to manually add the Windows Media Player audio files to the iTunes library.

Open iTunes.

Click the "File" option at the top of iTunes. A drop-down menu will appear.

Choose the "Add Folder to Library" option. A window will open inside iTunes.

Click inside the open window on the folder that holds the music saved in Windows Media Player. This could be the default "Music" or "My Music" folder. If you've created a separate folder for your music, click on that particular folder.

Click the "Open" or "Select Folder" button (depending on the version of iTunes you are using) at the bottom of the window. The Windows Media Player files will be added to iTunes.

Tips & Warnings
ITunes will play Windows Media Player songs that are in MP3, WMA, WAV, M4A, AAC, AIFF and Audible format.
