Things You'll Need

  • Mr. Clean Magic Eraser
  • WD-40
  • Microfiber cloth
  • Acetone nail polish remover
  • Paper towels
  • Bleach

Instructions

    • 1

      Wipe the Sharpie ink stain with a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Test a small area first to make sure the product does not affect the finish on your appliance.

      Spray the Sharpie ink stain with WD-40 and allow it to dry. Wipe the stain with a microfiber cloth.

      Spread acetone nail polish remover on the stain using a paper towel and allow the polish remover to dry. Wipe with a dry paper towel or a dry microfiber cloth.

      Wipe bleach on the Sharpie ink stain with a paper towel and allow the bleach to dry. Wipe the stain with a dry paper towel.

Tips & Warnings

  • If none of these work, make a paste from water and baking soda and wipe the stain.

  • Alternatively, rub some plain white toothpaste on the stain and allow to dry before wiping off.

  • Always test on an unseen spot on your appliance to make sure the cleaning product does not hurt the finish.
