How to Add Someone to Your Palm Device's Address Book

One of the best reasons to use a handheld organizer is to keep all your contact information in one centralized location. The Palm handheld also helps you sort and organize your contacts.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

    Press the Address (phone) button on the Palm handheld.

  2. Step 2

    Tap New to add a new address.

  3. Step 3

    Write the last name of your contact by writing in the Graffiti text-writing area.

  4. Step 4

    Tap next to First Name on the Palm handheld, then write the first name of your contact in the Graffiti text-writing area.

  5. Step 5

    Tap in subsequent fields and continue to add information by writing in the Graffiti text-writing area.

  6. Step 6

    Write in the Graffiti number-writing area to add numbers to your fields.

  7. Step 7

    Tap Details to assign a category (such as work or personal) to your contact.

  8. Step 8

    Tap OK to close the Address Entry Details box.

Tips & Warnings
  • Select contact information (work, home, fax, other or e-mail) from the Address Entry Details to appear in the Address List along with the contact name.
  • Attach a note to your contact for more detailed information, such as birthday or directions.
  • Press the Address button to cycle through different categories in your Address List.
