How to Put Caviar Beads on a T-Shirt
Caviar beads are seen on many decorative pieces. You can design your own motif and apply it to T-shirts, jeans and handbags. By using the right adhesive and tracing your pattern's outline onto your T-shirt, your creation can be easily applied. Mix different color beads together for an intricate pattern or use the same color for a mini accent motif. Whichever format or caviar bead size you choose, your T-shirt will be refurbished into a wearable art showpiece.

1
Iron your T-shirt. Place the T-shirt on a flat work surface with a protective cover or ironing board. Smooth out the fabric. You will not be able to apply the caviar beads if the T-shirt has fabric folds.
-
2
Draw your design on tracing paper. Cut it out. Place your cut-out onto the protective cover of your adhesive sheet. Lightly draw the outline of your design's cut-out on the protective sheet.

3
Cut out the shape. Use rotary cutters for a smooth outline around your design. If you are incorporating different bead colors into your design, cut out each color section separately.
-
4
Remove the protective sheet's bottom layer. The adhesive will be exposed. Place it on your T-shirt. Do not remove the protective sheet's top layer.
-
5
Set your iron on the setting recommended by your adhesive sheet's manufacturer. Iron the cut-out. Once the adhesive is cool, remove the protective sheet's top layer. The surface will be tacky. Do not discard the top layer protective sheet.
-
6
Add your caviar beads. Once the beads are set, replace the protective sheet's top layer over the design. Iron your beads by pressing onto the T-shirt. Do not glide the iron. It is advised to lift the iron and press each section of your design. You can opt to cover your beads with a towel for added protection while you press.

7
Check your beads by lifting the corner of the protective sheet's top layer. If the beads are rolling or moving, apply more pressure and continue to press until the beads are securely adhered

Tips & Warnings
Make sure the adhesive sheet you select has a tacky surface. This will ensure that your beads will set and not roll off your T-shirt prior to ironing.
