on 12/31/2008 What, these are for the birds to eat? Dang. (grin) Great idea to keep the tweeters happy in the cold.

on 5/15/2008 My grandparents use to do this when I was a little girl. I remember hanging them in the trees. Thanks for the recipe, I will be sure to do this with my kids this Christmas.

on 12/17/2007 I made these cookies as a tribute to my dad. He always loved to feed the birds. I sent these to all of the grandchildren to hang out in the yard this Christmas in memory of grandpa and his love of nature. Everyone liked the idea and now we will use it as a tradition to remember those we love.

on 1/2/2006 Use Christmas cookie cutters instead of the glass to cut out different shapes and make each hole about 3/4 inch from the top. When the cookies are baked, put a short piece of twine through each cookie individually and tie at the top. Hang these outside like ornaments on a live tree for the birds.
