How to Remove the Rear Wiper From a Honda Insight

The rear wiper on your Honda Insight is attached to the rear wiper arm with nothing more than friction. The rear wiper should be checked every six months and replaced if it shows any signs of damage. Any cracking or peeling of the blade is grounds for replacement. Replacement wipers for your insight can be purchased from most auto parts stores or directly from Honda.

Instructions

1. Lift the rear wiper arm off the rear hatch window of the Insight until the arm locks into a near-vertical position.

2. Swing the wiper blade assembly out and away from the wiper arm until the wiper sits perpendicular to the wiper arm.

3. Pull the wiper blade assembly away from the wiper arm to separate it from the arm.
