How to Uninstall Magic Jack
Magic Jack is a program that provides Internet telephone service. It enables you to make phone calls through your computer. The service gives you regular calling features such as a number, caller ID, voicemail and call waiting. If you are no longer using Magic Jack services, you can uninstall this program from your computer and free hard drive space and memory (Random Access Memory).

Windows XP Users

Disconnect your Magic Jack device from your computer. This automatically removes all the virtual devices that Magic Jack installs.

Click the Windows "Start" menu and click "My Computer" to launch Windows Explorer. Double-click the "C:" drive and double-click the "Documents and Settings" folder. Double-click "YourUserProfileName" folder and double-click the "Application Data Folder." Locate the "mjusbsp" file and right-click it. Click "Delete."

Go back to YourUserProfileName folder and double-click the "Local Settings" folder. Double-click the "Application Data" folder. Locate any Magic Jack folders and delete them. Close Windows Explorer.

Delete any Magic Jack icons that are on your desktop. Download and install a free registry cleaner program such as CCleaner or Eusing Registry Cleaner (see both programs in the Resource section). Run the registry cleaner program.

Manually remove the remaining Magic Jack entries from the registry. To do so, click the Windows "Start" menu and click "Run." Type "regedit" and press "Enter" to launch the registry.

Click the "HKEY_Current User" folder on the left panel and click the "Talk4Free" folder. Delete all its entries on the right panel. Close the registry and reboot your computer.
Windows Vista and 7 Users

Click the Windows "Start" menu on the desktop and click the "Start Search" box.

Type "mjusbsp" and press "Enter." Your system searches for the folder.

Right-click the "mjusbsp" folder and click "Delete" to remove it after Windows locates it. Run a registry cleaner program to remove any leftover files.
