How to Remove Web Browser Toolbar

You can add a Web browser toolbar manually or automatically through a software update. You may have installed a toolbar directly from a website, or it may have been bundled with other software. You can remove a Web browser toolbar through the Add and Remove programs feature in Windows

Instructions

1. Click "Start," then "Control Panel."

2. Select "Programs and Features."

3. Scroll through the list of programs. Find the toolbar that your browser uses. Close all of the tabs and windows of your browser, then exit it to make sure that nothing interferes with the removal process.

4. Select the toolbar and click "Change." Wait for the removal software to remove the toolbar.

5. Restart your computer to finalize the removal process.
