How to Program the Keyless Remote for a Dodge Caravan
The Dodge Caravan was introduced in 1984 as a family-friendly alternative to the station wagon. Beginning in 1994, the Caravan was equipped with electronic door locks and a keyless remote entry system. Caravan owners looking for replacement remotes can purchase them at a Dodge dealer or online from websites such as keyless-remotes.com. (See Resources 1) Third-party remotes purchased online are less expensive than factory remotes purchased from Dodge but need to be programmed before use. Replacement remotes can be programmed by the vehicle's owner, but a working remote is needed to complete the process.
