Step 1
First, make sure your iPhone is updated the latest firmware version. This is not necessary but is always a wise idea, especially if you traveling abroad.

Next, navigate to the iPhone home page by pressing the "Home" button (it's the only button on the front of the device). In this screen you should see your first page of apps.

Enter the iPhone settings by clicking the "Settings" app icon, which looks like grey gears. In settings, select "General".

In the "General" settings page, select "Network" to access the roaming settings.

Data Roaming OffLocate the data roaming slider and set this to off. The switch should move to the left side, indicating that data roaming on the iPhone is turned off.
