While watching "American Idol" or "Survivor," you feel like you are just as good at fulfilling the requirements on the show or can do an even better job than the present contestants. If this is your thinking, you should apply for the reality TV show of your choice. Some reality TV shows want their contestants to fill out an application or audition to apply. Finding the resource to apply for the reality TV show of your choice is a straightforward process.

Instructions

1. Visit the reality show's network website such as ABC or MTV or go to the actual website for the reality TV show to search for the "apply," "audition" or "casting" link on its home page.

2. Search for the reality TV shows that are receiving applications to be a part of their cast.

3. Click the link for the reality TV show that you wish to join and fill out the application or visit the designated location to audition for the reality TV show.

Tips & Warnings

• Whether you are applying online, through the mail or showing up at a live audition, you will need to portray yourself as an interesting person such as stating something special about yourself that makes you different and your accomplishments that are related to your audition.

• Remember, you are not the only contestant that will be auditioning. Therefore, do your best when you stand in front of the judges. Showing up late may disqualify you as a participant for an audition.
