How to Decorate a Red Wagon for a Wedding That Will Wow The Guests

Using a red wagon in your upcoming wedding is a terrific idea and the possibilities are endless! If its just for decoration to hold all of your gifts, holding the wedding favors for your guests near the exit, to pull the flower girl or ring bearer, or just to give the people something to talk about, we will have your wagon looking fabulous in no time!

• Supplies to decorate wagon (depends on what you want to do)

Instructions

1. If your wedding colors include red, then there is no need for you to cover the entire wagon. But, if its not don't worry, there are several options to cover up that bright red!

2. First things first covering the wagon. In Past weddings we purchased an all white fitted crib sheet made one slit in the middle top of the sheet and placed the wheels through the slit, making sure the elastic edges come up and around the inside of the wagon. You can easily tape down the elastic edges with duct tape and cover them with (a small piece of foam if kids are ridding in your wagon) or a beautiful blanket in your choice of colors. Next you need to make a spot for the handle to come through which is also as easy as just another slit. From there you can drape chiffon all around the entire wagon, adding numerous decorations to completely customize your wagon here is a list of ideas.

3. If the fitted sheet just isn't your style. We have also purchased three ballet skirts. Ya know the beautiful white, poofy skirts (make sure you don't go any larger then size 4/5T or they will be way to long)! Cut them in half and attached them all around the edges of the wagon! It looks amazing and they are just the right length so they don't get caught in the wheels.

4. You can purchase battery operated white Xmas lights and twirl in with chiffon and drape around the wagon. You will want to make sure any of your decorations are securely attached and do not drape down to far!

   Any type of Garland that matches the bridals wedding party also looks amazing!

5. Placing several of the couples engagement pictures or childhood pictures throughout the decorations this always makes a great conversation piece for your guests at the reception!

6. Make sure when decorating you include the handle too, its just as easy to take 3 or 4 colors of ribbon and twirl up the handle!

   Remember don't get stressed out, Have fun! Pretend this wagon is a mini just married car! IT would be super cute to even place some cans (or juice boxes) dangling from the back if you have children riding in the wagon!
