How to Install Yahoo Messenger for Chatting

Thanks to the Internet, it's now easier than ever to stay in touch with your friends and family members. There are several messaging applications available, but not all offer the same advantages of Yahoo! Messenger. While most people know that Yahoo! Messenger is great for sending instant messages, not everyone knows that a chatting option is available. Once you have downloaded Yahoo! Messenger, just look for the "chat" tab to start chatting.

      Go to www.messenger.yahoo.com.

      Click on the download button.

      Click "Download Now" on the next screen, or choose a different download version (Mac, Web, Mobile, iPhone).

      Click "run" when prompted. Depending on your system, you may have other pop up windows request confirmation. Click, yes, ok, or run when those pop up.

      Click "next" when prompted.

      Accept the privacy policy and click "next".

      Click "install". Once the installation process is over, Yahoo! Messenger will be downloaded onto your computer. Click on the "chat" tab to start chatting.
