Paintball is a combat game that uses markers or guns to fire balls of paint at other players in the game. There are several different types of games, including a free-for-all type of game where it's every man for himself, a capture the flag game and other team games. Paintball has evolved over the years to include more weapons than just guns. One of the most effective weapons used in paintball is a paintball grenade.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Empty 20-oz. water bottle with lid
  • Scotch tape
  • Paper towel
  • Paintballs
  • Scissors
  • Baking soda
  • Vinegar
  1. Step 1

Take a paper towel and fold it in half. Make sure the crease and the fold are as straight as possible.

  2. Step 2

Pour two tablespoons of baking soda down the middle of the paper towel in a straight line.

  3. Step 3

Take your paper towel and fold it in half again, this time from the top to the bottom to make a square. Use scotch tape to secure the sides of the square packet.

  4. Step 4

Remove the cap from an empty water bottle and drop 10 paintballs into the bottle. Add a cup of hot water to the bottle and shake it up. This will help the paintballs to dissolve.

  5. Step 5

Pour half a cup of vinegar into the water bottle. Stuff the square paper towel packet into the bottle, cap it, and throw it in an open area outdoors. The baking soda and vinegar will mix, cause pressure to build up in the bottle and cause it to explode.

Tips & Warnings
  • Use proper eye protection when using this type of paintball grenade. Do not throw the grenade at any animals or people. Do not squeeze the grenade before tossing it, as this could result in a huge mess.
