Choose Organize Favorites from the Favorites menu.

In the box that appears, click on a site that you want to move to a folder.

Click on Move to Folder.

Click on the folder you want, then click OK.

Click on Create Folder in the Organize Favorites box if you want to make a new folder. A new folder appears in the list.

Type in a folder name.

Click Close when you're finished moving favorites and creating folders.

Step1
Open the Bookmarks menu and choose Go To Bookmarks.

Drag a bookmark to a new folder.
Step3
To make a new folder, right-click a bookmark and choose Insert Folder.

Type a name for the folder and click OK.

Press Ctrl+B for a shortcut to organize favorites.
Click the minus or plus signs to open or close a folder.
To save a copy of your bookmarks in case you need to refer back to the old list, choose Go To Bookmarks from the Bookmarks menu, then choose Save As from the File menu. Save the bookmarks under a new name.

It's a good idea to categorize your bookmarks into several folders, and if there are a lot of links which fit under one category, use sub-categories. It is a lot easier to expand one or two folders to get to your bookmarks than to search through one long list.

It is advisable to look over your bookmarks at least every 3 months or so since the Web pages may be relocated or deleted altogether. Don't forget to update the links for your relocated pages.
