Instructions

    • 1

Look for coloring pages of a plain pumpkin shape in a coloring book. Draw or print out the pumpkin pattern outlines.

    • 2

Sketch slitted, round or almond shaped eyes, over-sized or fang shaped teeth on the plain line pumpkin drawings. Add eyebrows to give an appearance of a frowning angry pumpkin face.

    • 3

Color green glittering or flaming red eyes, blackened teeth and a crooked nose on to your scary pumpkin. Add lumpy growths on the orange skin. Draw features that are scary to you. A screaming mouth, beady eyes and flaring nostrils on a skeletal Jack O'Lantern will be a very scary pumpkin pattern

    • 4

Draw a long skinny body with misshapen fingers and talons for a scary pumpkin. A cloaked body with angry facial features will be another scary pumpkin pattern for a Halloween card or decoration.

    • 5

Increase or decrease a copy of your completed pattern. Transfer the scary pumpkin pattern to the project that you have planned.

Tips & Warnings

  • Color adds to the fear factor with a scary pumpkin pattern. Bright orange, yellow and red flaming eyes with dark nasty teeth is perfect for an angry ghoulish pumpkin.
