How to Make a Wire Christmas Tree

There is nothing that says "Christmas" like a decorated tree, but not all trees have to be of the evergreen variety. With a few simple materials, you can make your own Christmas tree out of wire hangers. This tree, easy both on the wallet and the eyes, makes an ideal project to complete with friends and family during the holidays. Let the merriment begin.

Things You'll Need

• 6 wire hangers
• Electrical tape
• Miniature Christmas lights
• Garland
• Ornaments

Instructions

Making a Wire Christmas Tree

1. 

   Divide the hangers into three groups of two each. Place two hangers in the position seen here and secure with three pieces of tape. Repeat with the other two sets of hangers.

2. 

   Using one of the taped hangers as the centerpiece, place the legs of the other two sets through the middle hanger to form a tree shape.
