How to Make a Duck Tape Bracelet

A Duck Tape bracelet is a fun way to use duct tape in a craft. Although this bracelet was invented by the Duck Tape brand, you can use any duct tape to make it, assuming the tape comes in several colors. Use this bracelet craft as an enjoyable activity with kids.

Things You'll Need

• Duct tape (Duck brand) in several colors
• Scissors

Instructions

1. Cut one strip of each color of Duck Tape. Make sure the strips are long enough to fit around your wrist with some slack.

2. Fold each strip in half lengthwise so that the sticky surface is inside the fold. Make sure that no sticky parts remain on the outside.

3. Lay the strips alongside each other and tape one end of them together with a small additional piece of tape.

4. Have a friend wrap the strips around your wrist and tape the two sides together to form a bracelet.

Tips & Warnings

• Make sure no sticky parts are showing after Step 2. Sticky parts on the outside of the bracelet can cause it to stick to your skin or become uncomfortable. You may want to work with each strip separately, rather than cutting them all and then folding them all. This will reduce the likelihood of the strips sticking together before they are folded.
