Perfectly healthy facial masks can be from items you can find in your kitchen. A creamy, luxurious mask can be mixed together using just a few items in just a few minutes. There are no added chemicals or preservatives.
Things You'll Need
- 5 strawberries
- 2 tsp. sour cream
- 1 tsp. raw honey
- 1 ripe banana
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 2 vitamin E capsules
Strawberry Cream Facial Mask
Mix in your blender five large, ripe strawberries, 2 teaspoons sour cream and 1 teaspoon raw honey.
Apply the strawberry cream facial mask to your clean face (or other body parts) and leave it on for 10 minutes before rinsing it off with warm water.
Store the remainder of the cream mask in a sealed container in the refrigerator. However, it will only keep for about two days.
Banana Cream Facial Mask
Mix together in your blender one ripe banana, one-half cup plain yogurt and the contents of two vitamin E capsules (400 I.U. each).
Apply the banana cream facial mask to your clean face and leave it on for approximately 10 minutes before rinsing it off with warm water.
Store the remainder of the mask in a sealed container in the refrigerator for only five to six hours. Bananas do not keep for very long.
Tips & Warnings
- Add a bit of oatmeal to either mask cream to help exfoliate your skin.
