How to Rip Youtube Audio (MAC)

Tired of ripping audio from youtube but then having to convert it into mp3? now you can get that audio track that you want in the mp3 format without having to convert it.

notice: this is a mac program.

Things You'll Need

• patience
• Audio Hijack
• Mac

Instructions

1. First thing you have to do is go download the program Audio Hijack Pro.

2. After you downloaded and installed the program. Find the video on youtube that you want the audio from and copy the link to that youtube video.

3. Turn on Audio Hijack Pro. From here, find the button that says hijack. Turn that ON. When turned on it will tell you to quit safari and restart it (this is why i had you copy the link)

4. After safari is back on. Paste the link you copied and go to the site. Pause the video then make sure your volume is turned all the way up for nice volume on the track.

5. Now in Audio Hijack, you want to click on record. Right after clicking on record, you want to press play on the video as fast as you can.

6. Here is where patience comes into play. Wait till the songs done playing and right when it finishes. click record again to stop the recording. ( the audio will be in the audio hijack folder but i suggest you change the recording location to the desktop)

7. now you have the song and you can add it to itunes then change the name and author of it.

Tips & Warnings

• there is a MUTE button that you can use so you dont have to listen to the song while it is playing at full volume.

• dont worry about making other noises, as the program will only record audio from safari or whatever program you choose.
