MLB '08 is easily the most realistic baseball video game ever created. The graphics are crisp and clear, and the movements on screen are incredible. It is also realistic in the sense that some components of the game are easier than others. Hitting a home run in MLB '08 takes equal portions of skill, timing and dexterity to accomplish.

Pick a hard hitter player with good power stats. Try Jeter, Ortiz or Rodriguez.

Choose high fastball when you are asked to guess what the pitcher will throw.

Ignore the directional keys, using the joystick instead. Push it all the way up.

Swing roughly a quarter of a second later than you would if trying to hit a regular ball.

While swinging, push the power button so that you get the maximum amount of power on the swing (on a Playstation 2 or Playstation 3 controller, this is the square button).
