Clearing the search history on Firefox can protect your privacy and free up space on your computer. It only takes a few quick clicks to clear your search history in Firefox.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Open your Firefox browser and click on "Tools."

  2. Step 2

From the drop down menu, click "Clear Private Data."

  3. Step 3

Decide what information you want to clear: "Browsing History," "Search History," "Cache," "Cookies," "Offline Website Data," "Saved Passwords" and/or "Authenticated Sessions." The more fields you clear, the cleaner and faster your computer will run.
