Learn how to weed out internet home-based business money scams and find and/or start your own legitimate home-based internet businesses.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Watch Out for False Promises - Myth #1:
You can work part-time from home and make thousands of dollars a month, with little or no up-front investment.
    The Truth:
There is not one internet based-program out there that can deliver on this claim. No, not one. Any program making this claim is a ponzi scheme, fraud and scam. Point your browser [and your dollars!] in another direction.

  2. Step 2

If It's Too Good To Be True, It Is! - Myth #2:
Those scanned photos of people who got paid thousands of dollars from Google, Clickbank, etc. are real world examples of the immediate profits waiting to be made by online business entrepreneurs.
    The Truth:
Those are actual photos of real checks paid to real people who have (in most cases, not all) gotten in on the ‘top-tier’ of a network-marketing scheme that pays big to those who get in early, while there is still money to be made. These programs typically offer products of questionable value. What’s worse, once you spend your hard-earned dollars for their product, it is difficult if not impossible to get these scammers to refund your money! Parasite scammers love the internet because it gives them anonymity and freedom from normal business regulation and oversight. If you report them to the FTC or Better Business Bureau Online, they will just close up one portal and open another somewhere else on the web. The numbers of these criminal schemes are legion!

  3. Step 3

Real Keys To Making Money on the Internet - Myth #3
Many people have quit their full-time jobs and are making a handsome income from their online home-based business.
    The Truth:
Keep your day job. Even with the few legitimate hbbs out there, the number of people who do so well with their business that they quit their day job is very small. I have spoken with a few of them, and I can tell you that they are working hard to get and keep their clientele’s business. There is nothing magical about doing business on the internet. Like a traditional brick-and-mortar business, you have to have a solid business plan wisely executed to successfully compete on the internet. For example, when you consider the considerable expense, energy, talent and planning that went into making Google, Amazon, Ebay, YouTube, etc. what they are today, you are not looking at ‘typical’ results. It is ridiculous the amount of people who get suckered in to a program promising internet millions and never get their business off the ground. There is no such thing as easy money out there. It is a ploy of savvy marketers to capitalize on people’s laziness and greed – and it works like a charm! Be wise.

  4. Step 4

    Myth #4
There is lots of money to be made on online auction sites like Ebay.
    The Truth:
Reputable sources have disclosed to me accounts of people who actually make quite a good living just auctioning merchandise from their homes. What is common to these real-life success stories is these individuals are putting in full-time and overtime work to make those dollars. If you have lots of time to invest in collecting other folks junk, and you don’t mind turning your garage and/or basement into a thrift store, go for it!

  5. Step 5

    Myth #5
You have to pay hundreds of dollars to ‘internet gurus’ to get all their knowledge and expertise to build a successful internet business.
    The Truth:
You can pay for their information. Or, you can find the same valuable internet marketing and business solutions for hundreds less in the SiteBuildIt! Program. Try it out risk-free today!
