Kate Hudson has amazing wavy hair.

The secret to beach wavy hair is simple but yet many think it's impossible to achieve. It really doesn't take much effort at all. Here's the how-to on how to get that at-the-beach hairstyle. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

    • 1

First off, you will need to wash your hair. This style is done best while damp.

Spritz damp hair with texturizing spray. Spray all over the head to get a rough texture. If you have thick hair, spray less. If you don't have a texturizing spray, you can mix up sea salt & water and it will give it almost the same texture.

Next, you need to scrunch your hair AS it dries. Don't comb through it time after time. Just get the tangles out, and maybe add some mousse and start scrunching your hair every 10 minutes or so.

Once your hair is dry and wavy, grab a 1 - 2 inch curling iron and randomly select pieces of hair and twirl it around the barrel. Remember not to wrap it tightly, just enough to get it a twist.

Add a small amount of an anti-frizz serum and finger comb out the curls. You should have random ringlets twisting every which way - creating the perfect beach girl look.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you don't have a curling iron, you can try to curl it with a flat iron. This takes much practice - so be ware.

  • Spraying the sea salt will naturally give your hair great wavy texture.
