Satin is a very tricky piece of fabric to iron. If you are not careful it will burn and some fabrics will melt. I have a simple solution to ironing satin ad keeping it beautiful as the day you bought it.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • steam iron
  • water bottle
  1. Step 1

Place your satin dress on a hanger and hang it on a flat wall. Spray the satin dress lightly with the water in your water bottle. Do not spray it heavily.

  2. Step 2

Heat your steam iron on low heat and then you take the iron and place it about a 1/4 inch away from the fabric. Go up and down with the iron making sure you do not touch the fabric at all.

  3. Step 3

Make sure you use the steam in the iron as well as the water in the bottle. Keep the iron moving till you get the wrinkles out of the dress. Flip the dress over and repeat.

Tips & Warnings
  • Make sure you are doing this in a fast pace so that the fabrics do not melt.
  • Do not touch the fabric at all it will burn.
  • Do not touch the hot iron it will burn you.
