Sweep the floors with soft bristled broom. Sweep in two directions to insure dirt is removed from all surfaces.
-
Step 3
Mop the floor by saturating it with a neutral general purpose cleaner, then scrubbing the surface. Always make sure to rinse the surface with water after cleaning to remove the cleaner.
-
Step 4
Do not clean the floors with bleach or ammonia based cleaners as they may discolor the floors.
-
Step 5
A mixture of 1/4 cup vinegar to 2 gallons of water used for cleaning does wonders for your flooring.
