How to Uninstall an Iwon Toolbar
The Iwon Co-Pilot Toolbar is a free download compatible with most internet browsers. Some enjoy its features, like checking e-mail and money market access, but others find the toolbar bothersome. The helpful features come at the cost of browser-based advertising. Despite the annoyance that ads create, the company does not report any major threats associated with the iWon toolbar.

Click on "Uninstall a Program." In older versions of Windows, this is labeled "Add/Remove Programs." When the Add/Remove Programs window opens, it may anywhere from seconds to several minutes to load. Loading speed depends on your RAM and the number of programs installed on your computer. Give the computer time and do not click around while the Programs List is loading.

Search the Programs List for the toolbar; it will be labeled "Co-Pilot - iWon." Programs are listed alphabetically.

After selecting the iWon Co-Pilot Toolbar, click "Change/Remove."

A few on-screen prompts will follow. These prompts will differ depending on the version of iWon you are using. Simply click "next" or "yes" to confirm that you do in fact want to uninstall the toolbar.

Restart your computer once the uninstall has finished.
Tips & Warnings
The screen images provided are from Windows Vista Home Premium. If you are using a different version of the Windows Operating System, the steps will be the same, but the screen may look different.
This simple uninstall method will work in most cases. But if you are not able to remove the iWon toolbar using these steps, consult a computer technician to help you backup your registry and remove any corrupt .dll files. Do not attempt further, more complicated removal methods by yourself.
