How to get rid of bad breath with some common bad breath cures!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Tongue scraper
  • Toothbrush
  • Gum or coarse food
  1. Step 1

In the case of preventing bad breath, the best offense is a good defense; properly care for your mouth on off-time. Brush your teeth, use mouth wash, and FLOSS!

  2. Step 2

Chew gum. Gum can help cure bad breath by removing some tartar and breaking up the gunk on your tongue. It also tends to have a pleasant aroma, making it temporarily seem more pleasant.

  3. Step 3

If you are at dinner, eat something coarse; Carrots, celery, parsley and salad can all break up the gunk on your tongue that is partially responsible for bad breath.

  4. Step 4

Purchase a tongue cleaner (scraper). I know exactly what you are thinking: "I clean my tongue with my toothbrush."

...No, you do not. Buy a tongue scraper, use it and you will notice a significantly cleaner tongue, and with time, breath.

  5. Step 5

Keep yourself and your mouth hydrated.

  6. Step 6

Stay away from things that will make your breath stink like: coffee, cigarettes, garlic, onions, etc.

Tips & Warnings
  • Take care of your mouth and your teeth!
  • Use sugar-free mints and gum.
