Garlic is touted as able to increase blood circulation to the scalp and help to reduce hair loss. It's also effective against dandruff. Honey coats the hair, protecting and making it silky and smooth. Combined, these make a healthy treatment for your hair. However, you must shampoo your hair after a honey garlic treatment to get rid of the garlic's strong odor.
Things You'll Need
- Garlic press
- Head of garlic
- 1/2 cup honey
- Hair conditioner
Mash the garlic cloves in a garlic press.
Mix the garlic and honey in a bowl.
Rub the mixture into your hair and scalp, using only your finger tips, for five minutes. This will increase circulation and bring blood to your scalp.
Rinse your hair with warm water, then wash it with shampoo. Apply the conditioner. The final rinse should be with cold water to make your hair shine.
