Things You'll Need:
- Wax Strips
- Hot Wax
- Depilatory creams
- Tweezers
- Razors
-
Step 1
Some women may begin noticing facial hair in the 20's. It can cause a great amount of stress to a woman's self image, so it is important to take whatever steps are necessary in removing the unwanted hair. Thankfully there are many options available that are fairly inexpensive.
-
Step 2
Don't worry, it wont hurt this bad!The method that works the best is to have the unwanted hair removed by hot wax. This is typically done in a salon. Hot wax is applied to the area, then strips are placed over the hot wax. The strips are ripped off, which causes only slight discomfort, and the hair is instantly removed.
-
Step 3
Wax stripsIf you are self conscious about going to a salon to have the hair removed, you still have other options. You can purchase wax strips that you rub between your hands to heat up. Then, place the strips on the unwanted hair and tear off. These don't work as effectively as salon hot waxing, however.
-
Step 4
Nair facial creamNair makes a hair removing facial cream that works pretty well. It smells horrible, but will remove a lot of the hair. When using this method, the hair seems to grow back pretty quickly though.
-
Step 5
Tweezing the unwanted hair is VERY PAINFUL and can take a long time. However, it's the best option when dealing with eyebrows. Slanted tweezers work best in gripping the hair.
-
Step 6
There are several razors that are advertised as "personal trimmers", but don't use this method. Sure, the hair is removed quickly, but it also grows back quickly. And usually darker. Don't shave facial hair with a razor!
