Bingo

Bingo is a game enjoyed by both children and adults. It is a subtle way for adults to help children learn their numbers as well. It is also a good game for children to play together on a rainy day. Parents and teachers don't need to pay money for a bingo game, as they can easily make the game at home.

Instructions

    • 1

Gather enough pennies for each person to have 30. If you don't have enough around the house, you can take a few dollar bills and exchange them for pennies at your local bank. These will be used as bingo chips.

    • 2

Open up the word processing program on the computer. Click the "File" button and choose "Page Setup" from the drop down menu. You want to click on the one that will let you create a table.

    • 3

Choose 5 columns and 6 rows where It asks you how many rows and how many columns. Click "Done." The page will now appear with a bingo board that you just have to fill in.

    • 4

Type the word "BINGO" in the middle space on the table. This is the free space that all BINGO cards have. Save this template by clicking "File" and then "Save As." Then type in whatever you want to call the file. "BINGO template" is a fine choice.

    • 5

Mix the numbers 1 through 29 up and use each one once on each board. Each board should be different, but use the same numbers. As you get each one finished, print it out. Just click "File" and then "Print." Make as many boards as you have kids playing the game.

    • 6

Make a table of numbers using your original template. You want to have the numbers 1 through 29. Cut them up with scissors to use as the game calling numbers.

Tips & Warnings

  • Make sure you load your printer with card stock before you click "Print." Laminate the boards so they last a long time.
