These tasty, old-fashioned chocolate oatmeal cookies require no baking and are sometimes referred to as boiled cookies, no-bake cookies or "cow patties." The term "preacher cookies" may have originated in America's early days — as the story goes, a housewife who saw her family preacher approaching from a distance on horseback could have a batch made before he got to her front door. Today, these tasty treats are a fun recipe to make with kids or when you need a batch of cookies in a hurry. Does this Spark an idea?
