Velcro is a trademarked hook-and-loop fastener used in a variety of ways. You can even use it to make a display board on which to attach your favorite photos or other items for display. Recycle an old frame and use decorative scrapbooking paper to make a custom Velcro display board.

Step 1

Take out the glass of an old photo frame. Lay the cardboard backing on a flat workspace.

Step 2

Slick one side of the cardboard backing with a glue stick. Press a piece of decorative scrapbooking paper on top of the glue and press firmly to smooth out the paper.

Step 3

Trim the excess paper away from the cardboard using scissors.

Step 4

Place a glue stick in a hot-glue gun and plug the gun into a power outlet. Let the glue warm up for a few minutes.

Step 5

Squeeze a dot of glue on the back of a Velcro circle. Press the circle onto the paper-covered cardboard. Squeeze a dot of glue on the back of the matching Velcro circle. Press the circle on the back of a favorite photo or paper memento, such as a concert ticket. Allow the glue to dry. Then, attach the photo or memento to the Velcro display board.
