Find Out if You are Related to Famous People

According to Ancestry.com I am related to Julia Childs, Robert Frost, Teddy Rosevelt, Issac Newton, John Wayne...and other famous people. According to the site, I am the 9th Cousin 4 times removed of Jane Austin. Am I really? Perhaps. It depends on the accuracy of the information collected on Ancesty.com. But it is always fun to check it out.

Start your family tree, by clicking on the Family Tree tab. The program will need your information, if you want to see who you may be related to. The more grandparents and great-grandparents you add, the more luck you will have when searching for famous relatives. When creating your tree, you have the option of setting it to public or private. If it is set to public, everyone on Ancestry will be able to view the tree.
