How to Save YouTube Video

Have you ever found a video on YouTube that you would like to save for later use or keep in your collection? youTube does not have that function. Here are a few steps that allow you to save your favorite video and then convert the file so you can play the saved video.

Things You'll Need

• Computer
• Internet

Instructions

1. Go to YouTube website. Find the video you want to download.

2. 

   Save URL. When you are on the page of your favorite video, copy the URL. This can be found next to the video in a box labeled "URL"

3. 

   Paste URL in another website site. There are a couple websites out there that will save the video for you. The websites are listed here. At the website, you will paste your video URL and download it. Then save it to your computer.

4. Convert the file. You must download a FLV converter to play the video. There are websites here that will allow you to do that listed in resources.

5. Open video. Now you should be able to open video and enjoy.
