How to Make a Paper Plate Four Leaf Clover
Four leaf clovers are a rare find and a symbol of good luck. They are seen all over St. Patrick's Day decorations. Get out one paper plate for each child.

Draw a four leaf clover on the paper plate with a pencil. You can do this by drawing a skinny rectangle for the stem and then four heart shaped petals.

Cut the four leaf clover out with a pair of scissors.

Paint the four leaf clover green. You may need two coats.

Set the four leaf clover out to dry. This should take about two hours.

Tips & Warnings
Use a hole puncher to punch a hole in the four leaf clover. Thread a piece of yarn through the hole and tie into a necklace.
Cut a strip of magnet for the back of the four leaf clover. Stick to your refrigerator.
Lay newspapers out on your workspace to protect the surface from paint.
Wear a smock or apron to protect your clothes from paint.
