1
Decide who to write to!
If you are sending a postal letter you'll probably write to one friend or relative -- or to one whole family.
If you write an email letter, you can CC -- carbon copy -- the letter to many people to enjoy.
-
2
Make sure you have current addresses for the people you want to receive you letter.
-
3
Write one or two sentences about each person in your family -- and you can include your pets, of course!
Or you can do a time line -- writing a few lines about each day of a family vacation or other adventure....
Don't forget to upload your photo to your email letter -- or put your photo into the envelope if you are writing on paper.

Tips & Warnings
Write the names of the people and places in your photo on the back of the picture. Also include the date the picture was taken.
If you are sending an email letter, only include one photo as some email programs will turn more than one into a zip file that some of your family might not know how to open.
If you would like to hear back from your friends or family, make it easy for them by asking a few questions they can answer in a reply.
If you know your friend is not a letter writer, suggest a time to get together either in person or by phone.
Don't forget to SEND YOUR LETTER! :)
Letter writing can be habit forming! :)
