Things You'll Need:
- Toilet paper roll
- $5 bill
- Copy machine
- Construction paper
- Glue
- Scissors
-
Step 1
Photocopy the front of a $5 bill. This bill has Abraham Lincoln's face on it. It doesn't matter if the copy is colored or black and white.
-
Step 2
Cut out Abraham Lincoln's face from the copy and glue it to the top of your toilet paper roll. If you don't have a $5 bill or you don't have a copy machine, you can just glue a penny to the top of the toilet paper roll. It won't look as nice, but it will do.
-
Step 3
Draw and cut out a black top hat like Abraham Lincoln use to wear. Glue it to the top of Abraham Lincoln's head. It is OK if you just glue the bottom and allow the top to stand taller than the toilet paper roll.
-
Step 4
Cut out a black piece of construction paper that will fit all the way around the toilet paper roll. It should be as tall as Abraham Lincoln's neck. Glue it in place under Abraham Lincoln's head. This is Lincoln's suit.
-
Step 5
Cut out a white triangle. Glue the triangle with the point facing down where the neck begins. This is the white shirt under the suit.
-
Step 6
Cut out two hands from some white or beige construction paper and glue one to each side of the toilet paper roll.
