How to Make Halloween Alcoholic Drinks
Most Halloween drinks are just normal, yummy drinks, changed slightly and given names like "Salem Witch" and "Zombie." These drinks are better than those. These drinks are all vaguely horrifying yet oddly addictive. You can't alleviate the horror by drinking them quickly either. That will just transfer the fear and trembling to your stomach, and you don't want that to happen. Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need
- Cranberry juice
- Pepper Vodka
- Cinnamon Schnapps
- Ice
- Raspberry liquor
- Orange soda
- Orange
- Southern Comfort
- Licorice
- Candy eyeballs
- Crushed garlic
- White onion
- Gin
- Dry vermouth
- Olives
- Clove garlic
- Sweet vermouth
- Shaker
- Dry ice
- Toothpick
- Carrot juice
- Melon liquor
Instructions

Vampire Bite

Pour about 2 oz. of cranberry juice into a glass.

Mix 1 shot pepper Vodka with 1 shot Cinnamon Schnapps in a shaker over ice.

Strain the mixture into the glass.

Add a dash of raspberry liquor.

Coat the rim with just a touch of capsicum for extra bite.
Monster Mash

Fill a glass with crushed ice.

Pour orange soda until the glass is 2/3 filled.

Add chunks of orange pulp or thin slices of orange inside the glass.

Fill the drink the rest of the way with Southern Comfort.

Garnish with a candy eyeball and a licorice stick.
The Van Helsing

Put a dab of ground garlic in the bottom of a chilled martini glass.

Add a very thin slice of strong, white onion.

Make a martini. Mix 3 parts gin and 1 part dry vermouth. Carefully pour it into the glass so as not to stir up the garlic.

Add a few drops of olive juice for flavoring.

Garnish with a skewered clove of garlic between two olives.

Tips & Warnings
Adding a bit of dry ice can improve nearly any Halloween drink. Just don't drink the dry ice!
Making a Van Helsing with sweet vermouth and vodka instead of dry vermouth and gin yields a Buffy.
Mix sweet and dry vermouth in equal portions, and your Van Helsing becomes a Blade.
Add a dash of carrot juice to a Van Helsing, and you get a Chester.
Add melon liquor to a Monster Mash to make a Great Pumpkin.
Mixing Vampire Bites and Van Helsings is a very bad idea.
